Rachel Craig

As a qualified psychotherapist with a passion for helping alleviate the pain and suffering of mental health issues, Rachel is a compassionate QNR Facilitator. Her love of people and bubbly nature are infectious which helps people share their life’s challenges.

Rachel has experience with mental illness firsthand, suffering with post-natal depression. Her personal healing journey drove her to study and work in the mental health field.

Rachel continues her self-development. She looks forward to completing her post graduate studies in Family and Couples Therapy, and is working towards a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Edith Cowan University. She is drawn to neuro psychology and has in depth understanding of how the mind, body and soul interconnect.

For more than 20 years Rachel worked with women and children as a psychotherapist. She has a love of people and a passion for helping those who cross her path. This motivates her to stay abreast of the latest research in how best to help people in need. And it is this that drew her to QNR. It perfectly aligns with her vision to combine the best of the human sciences with human connection and personalised treatments to alleviate suffering in a holistic, non-invasive way.

Rachel has a diverse range of experience including working with people suffering from depression, anxiety, grief/loss and trauma, bi-polar, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, autism, OCD, ODD, eating disorders, suicidality and self-harm. Her warm, caring, compassionate nature emanates from her which instantly puts people at ease. And this helps Rachel as a certified crisis support worker with Lifeline Australia, where she offers crisis support to vulnerable people. Her skills, empathy and ability to remain calm and supportive in tough circumstances helps people in their time of need.

For many years, Rachel has worked as a career counsellor and loves engaging with others to help improve their wellbeing and life satisfaction. She also volunteers tirelessly in her church community supporting children, youth, women and families in temporal and spiritual matters. It brings her joy and deep satisfaction to serve others.

Joining the staff at the Brain Wellness Spa, Rachel is excited to work with a diverse team to help people overcome their struggles so they can re-engage with life pain free, open to endless possibilities. She looks forward to helping her clients realise their full potential.
