Understanding Insomnia

When we suffer from insomnia, we might have difficulties in falling asleep, staying asleep, waking up too early.

No matter how hard we try to rest, we don’t feel refreshed when we wake up. While in the daytime, we’re sleepy and tired and have trouble functioning.

While Insomnia can range from having mild effects to becoming an acute problem, it is always characterised by lack of sleep.

Signs & Symptoms of Insomnia

Insomnia can be difficult to identify and most of the time this mental health disorder gets ignored. However, if left unattended insomnia can have a major negative impact and affect your day-to-day lifestyle.

Here are some of the most common symptoms of insomnia:

Different Types of Insomnia

Not all types of insomnia are identical. We can be affected by insomnia in multiple ways and the symptoms may vary from one individual to another

It is crucial that we are well informed about different forms of insomnia so that the correct treatment plan can be administered.

How does insomnia Affect Men & Women?

Sleep problems can affect anyone, however, women are more likely to experience insomnia than men. Although there is a particular reason for this disparity different stages of a women’s life such as pregnancy, menstruation and other hormonal changes are considered a few contributing factors for insomnia.

What Your 1st Session will be like.

  • On your first visit, you’ll notice our spa is calm and welcoming so you’ll be able to relax from the moment you step inside.
  • Your one-on-one session is held in a private room with a facilitator. It is not required to relive your past in order to achieve a successful result.
  • The facilitator will explain exactly what our approach is, and how it could work to help remove painful negative emotions, thinking patterns and behaviours.
  • You will then be ready for your first session where you simply sit back and relax
  • The facilitator will then go through our safe, natural and 100% drug-free approach, which may help promote the removal of your insomnia.
  • After your 1st session, you may notice an immediate improvement in your thinking, emotions, feelings, and perceptions

If you do not live in Perth or cannot access the Brain Wellness Spa in person, then the good news is that we have created an effective experience for you online, one that you can access anytime, and from anywhere in the world. Our professionally guided virtual sessions are just as successful as our face-to-face sessions! Call us to know more
We offer a natural and drug-free approach to mental health. You will work closely, one-on-one with an experienced facilitator who takes you through our process in a private, relaxing room. There is no need to relive your past if you do not want to. We do not need to know this in order to assist you. You simply sit back, relax, put on your headphones and listen to relaxing music specially designed to calm you.
When you have insomnia, you can toss and turn all night. You may have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep. Insomnia can be incredibly stressful when you wake up feeling tired. It will be difficult to get through each day when you do not have much energy and you feel moody. Working with us may help balance your sleep patterns for a good night’s sleep.
It is not uncommon for people to experience insomnia at some point in their lives. It is when it is ongoing over a period of time it can become a problem. Insomnia is usually caused by stress, eating too late at night or a traumatic event. We may be able to help you, with 98%* of clients sleeping better after the first session.
We aim to help you sleep better as soon as possible. Many of our clients notice a difference after the first session. But we do recommend completing the Emotional Empowerment Program which may help with long-term results.
