Anger is a normal human emotion that we all experience from time to time, whereby we feel annoyed or frustrated by a situation. However, when we feel angry all the time, it can be very distressing and wear us down. Regular angry outbursts can even interrupt our ability to go about our daily lives, and can hold us back from happiness.
Stress refers to a feeling of mental or emotional strain and pressure, and in many cases can be a healthy response to a situation, such as running a race or sitting an exam. On the contrary, ongoing or chronic stress can have damaging effects on our physical, mental and emotional health and can negatively impact our relationships, career and overall wellbeing.
Before finding and attending Brain Wellness Spa, Casey* had been suffering from anger management issues and stress for some time, primarily due to work-related stress. Casey’s anger and stress issues were interfering with her relationships with others.
Witnessing a colleague quit the following day as a result of an angry outburst from Casey, she decided it was time to seek professional help for her mental health. Anger and stress stopped me from finding a relationship and going out with friends.
Can you describe the feelings and thoughts you experienced?
I felt/thought the world did not care about me and that I was not living to my full potential.

When I was at work one day, my co-workers did not follow the instructions given to them. This resulted in me losing my temper and led to one of them quitting the next day.

After the first session my mind was clearer, my stress was lighter and my anger had turned into happiness. Now after eight sessions I am always happy, I see the positive more than the negative and have little to no stress about life. I have found my true potential for living.
