The feelings of burnout are commonly referred to as the physical and psychological consequences of highly demanding, stressful jobs on employees.
Although Burnout can be experienced in any profession nowadays, however, it is commonly found in professionals who have to put the needs of others over their own. Jobs such as medicine, police work and firefighting have more people succumbing to this condition.
One of the chief reasons, that burnout is experienced is due to one’s over-expectation of oneself and feeling that whatever they are doing is not enough.
Although burnout happens gradually over time, it can creep upon us and we won’t even realise its occurrence. The signs and symptoms are subtle at the start, but become worse over time.
This is why it’s important that we pay close attention to the early symptoms of burnout and take steps to address it actively.
Here are some of the most common symptoms of burnout:
While stress in any line of work is inevitable, but burnout can be prevented and managed. All we need to do is keep an eye out for the symptoms of burnout and make some simple changes in our lifestyle.
Here are a few tips to deal with burnout:
Research has shown that women are more vulnerable to burnout conditions than men because they tend to have less authority and are less likely to call the shots which can lead to increased frustration and stress and diminished well-being.
We aim to relieve burnout by naturally assisting the removal of negative emotions, feelings and thoughts from the brain with the help of our safe and drug-free Emotional Empowerment Program which consists of 14 sessions.
The first ten sessions address all of your triggers so that you can be more resilient to cope with your life and the next four sessions work on sabotaging default patterns of behaviour.
The effectiveness of our program involves an engagement with the unconscious part of the brain (your automatic brain), through the use of positive auditory stimuli, a technique created by Terri Bowman, our Founder.
The following graph shows self-reported data of over 2000 clients’ responses about how they felt before and after the Introductory session. The good news is that 97.4% of our clients feel a noticeable difference at the end of their first session and are satisfied with the session.
